Free Talk for Parents This is a one-hour talk for parents on how they can help their teens create sustainable, positive life results. Did you know that “Millennials,” those aged 18-33, are the most stressed-out generation according to a recent American Psychological Association survey? The results found that 1 in 2 Millennial college graduates are either jobless or underemployed. Parents need to carefully consider ways to give their teens a solid footing in their upcoming launch into the worl …

What would you do if you found out that your teenage loved one was held down and cut deeply enough to produce lifelong scars? What if words like loser, reject, or freak were carved into their legs or arms? Would you be outraged? I would be horrified and would call the police and demand that the person responsible be thrown in jail! I would not allow the madness to continue and would do everything I could to stop the violence! But what if you discovered it was your teenager hurting him or herself …

Pikes Peak Atheist Parents (PPAP) meetups are a way for atheist parents to get together, support each other and find like-minded peers for our children. The majority of our events are in the Pikes Peak region of Colorado, but there are a handful each year in the Denver area, and events may occur state-wide. As atheist parents, we want a safe way for our kids to meet and talk freely. We want our young children to be able to get together and play and learn about science and nature. We want our sch …

If there's one thing we parents understand, it's tough enough for our kids to navigate through childhood and adolescence. But for kids and teens who are empathic or telepathic, see auras and orbs, see and hear ghosts and spirits, or are psychic in any other way, their days can be a whole lot tougher. Especially when They're afraid to talk about it with friends and others They're distracted or frightened by any of it Or they have parents who may not know how to help them understand their expe …

This is a place for parents who are open to spirituality and would love for their children to find a way to connect to become the amazing people they came here to be. Many children (of all ages) have come into this world “knowing”. If this “knowing” is not nurtured and helped to develop, they will just leave it all behind and forget. What a travesty that would be! My name is Tami Harms, and I am here to help involve young children, tweens and teens into finding tools to help them create the worl …

Friends are important to a teenager. As a father a young teenager who now resides on the east coast during the school year, I struggle with being able to connect her with middle school aged teenagers while on her breaks here in Colorado. Her siblings are in school when she is here and because school is usually in session, she isn’t able to make girl friends while in Colorado. City organized Spring Break Camps and Summer Camps are usually not in session when she is here but perhaps with enough of …
